La disertación, desarrollada en el Programa de PostGraduación en Enseñanza de las Ciencias Naturales y de la Matemática de la UFRN, estudia las necesidades formativas de licenciandos en Química sobre el uso de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y de las comunicaciones (NTIC), en especial, las relacionadas con la utilización de programas computacionales para la enseñanza de la química. En la actual sociedad del conocimiento, se torna imperativo la eclosión de nuevas formas de aprender y de enseñar, que requieren de nuevas concepciones del trabajo pedagógico. En ese sentido, se exige de los profesores el desarrollo de nuevas habilidades y competencias. In this work it is presented a research developed in the initial training of teachers of the chemistry graduation course at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). The intervention was realized in two classes in the context of a discipline in the curricular structure with nineteen undergraduate students of chemistry. The study utilizes characteristics of the qualitative approach and uses observation, questionnaires, interviews and examination papers. The experiment involved a sequence of activities fundamented on the Problem Solving (PS) teaching strategy to approach chemical concepts. The proposal was planned and organized according to the theoretical presupposition of the work developed by the authors of the Science Education in PS, of teaching experience and from the initial hypotheses of the research. The goal was that the future teachers could experience the strategy and advance to the new meanings. The themes addressed in the activities were the difference between exercises and problems, exercises turning into problems, the steps of problem solving and some implications of the teaching strategy for the work of the teacher. In this work, electrochemical technology was used to treat synthetic wastewater containing Methyl Red (MR) and Blue Novacron (BN) by anodic oxidation using anodes platinum (Pt) and real samples of textile effluents using DDB anodes and platinum (Pt). The removal of color from the galvanostatic electrolysis of synthetic wastewater MR and BN, and the actual sample has been observed under different conditions (different current densities and temperature variation). The investigation of these parameters was performed in order to establish the best conditions for removal of color and chemical oxygen demand (BOD). According to the results obtained in this study, the electrochemical oxidation processes suitable for the degradation process of color and COD in wastewater containing such textile dyes, because the electrocatalytic properties of Pt and BDD anodes consumption energy during the electrochemical oxidation of synthetic solutions AN and MR and real sample, mainly depend on the operating parameters of operation, for example, the synthetic sample of MR, energy consumption rose from 42,00kWhm-3 in 40 mAcm-2 and 25 C to 17,50 kWhm-3 in 40mAcm-2 and 40 C, from the BN went 17,83 kWhm-3 in 40mAcm and 40°C to 14,04 kWhm- 3 in 40mAcm-2 and 40 C (data estimated by the volume of treated effluent). In distance learning degree in Chemistry in full of the Secretária de Educação a distância da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (SEDIS / UFRN). The teacher-tutor to establish the experimental subjects closer relationships with students, mediating the pedagogical actions that develop in the distance learning course, with a view to achieving the principles of autonomy and learning, contributing to the creation of learning environments collaborative, guided by affection.The article presents the results of an empirical research on affectivity in practice this tutorial experimental classes in higher distance education in the full degree course in Chemistry Polo Currais Novos/ RN, held between 2009 and 2010. The study is based on qualitative methodology, whose data were collected through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with 48 (forty eight) students involved in distance learning courses and selected in order to compose a group of subjects who showed variability, as guidelines that guide the sampling procedures in qualitative research. The results, based on category theory and empirical analysis of data from the interviews were supplemented by information obtained from participant observation which also served to guide the data collection of the corpus of this work. PNLEM came out in 2004 and modified the view about schoolbook in Brazil. In this work we developed a Dip Coating method that could control the temperature gradient between a substrate and the material that one wants to adsorb at its surface. In particular, the adsorption of biocompatible magnetic nanoparticles at the surface of bare metal Stents, under different experimental conditions, was investigated. The magnetic nanoparticles consisted of magnetite coated with tripoliphosphate (mean diameter 7.68 nm and standard deviation 1.88 nm) dispersed in water at physiological conditions, while the Stent was a CoCr based-one (Cronus stent from Scitech with 16 mm length). Nine series of experiments were performed where it was controlled parameters as: time of adsorption, stent temperature and magnetic fluid temperature. The stents coated with nanoparticles were magnetically characterized using a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), which allowed us to determine the number of nanoparticles at the stent surface. The increase of the magnetic moment of the stent with the increase of the adsorption time was theoretically modeled, with an excellent experimental agreement, as a transient diffusion process of nanoparticles at the interface stent-magnetic fluid, which clearly indicates an important diffusive contribution. A systematic study concerning the crystalline phases in the Bi2O3-rich region of the system Bi2O3-Tb4O7 was made. X-ray powder diffraction method, differential thermal analysis (DTA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) were used in the study of the obtained crystalline phases. Sixteen samples with composition in the range of 4.21 to 33.33 mol% of Tb4O7 were synthesized at 800oC by solid state reaction synthesis. Three distinct crystalline phases were initially identified: a tetragonal phase in the composition range of 4.21 to 5.69 mol% of Tb4O7, a cubic phase for compositions between 6.12 and 29.03 mol% of Tb4O7, and a monoclinic one with 33.33 mol% of Tb4O7. The thermal stability of these compositions was rigorously investigated and the results shown that they are metastable phases in almost all studied range. Under thermal annealing at 500oC, tetragonal phase undergoes decomposition into two phases, monoclinic and rhombohedral ones. The cubic phase, under the same thermal annealing, decomposes partially into a rhombohedral one, except for the interval between 25.0 and 29.1 mol% of Tb4O7. In this case, there was not decomposition under thermal annealing at 500oC during 373 hours, suggesting the cubic phase is stable in this composition range. This work can appears like a proposal for reflections in education by chemistry in basic training, the use of playful activities as teaching resource and student engagement in the chemistry study. It can to promote a development of the play culture in the school and from school. The teacher can propose partnership and involvement of students to develop of autonomy and self-knowledge through participation in education self process. It can be a good alternative to students and teachers, when they intentionally work together to build norms and rules that should govern their actions in playgames, or games that the students participate together for a invention of theirs freedom (legaliberté) of action in the classroom through the rules of law that guarantees and serve the educational process. An analytical chemical method for the forensic analysis of an illicit drug merla, whose the main constituent is the cocaine was development. Thermogravimetric analysis admitted to understand the thermal behavior of samples and quantifying the stages of mass loss, which together with the quantification endothermic event in DSC, the results were essential for the generation of analytical answers used to construct the data matrix of the statistical analysis. An efficient process for the precipitation of inorganic substances was established, which simultaneously allowed the extraction of two liquid fractions, organic and aqueous, being determinate a partition coefficient of 96,22 % for cocaine, using ethyl acetate as solvent, which showed lower elution time (0.58 min.) among the solvents evaluated. A method by Fast GC for cocaine analysis was developed, reducing the analysis time of 14.5 to 4.5 min was developed, which allowed analyze merla sample and the normalization of the chromatographic peaks of cocaine, demonstrated the great variation of its concentration in merla. This study investigated the use of collaborative social network as a training environment for critical reflection. This work describes the design of experiments and response surface methodology (RSM) via factorial designs programmed in PlanEx, a new web/online software implemented using the Java language. The goal was to develop and validate PlanEx as a simple, efficient, and an interactive tool for undergraduate teaching and research. PlanEx was also designed as a free software, and the Java language was chosen since it is a community-developed open source software. PlanEx provides both full factorial design of experiments (2k) and fractional (2k-1), with up to six variables, and with, or without, replicates. PlanEx was also developed to perform variable screening through replicates, and normal probability plots and also to evaluate the model bias by the residual graphs. PlanEx is based on RSM with up to four variables at three levels, and central points with, or without, replicates. Through RSM the user can check linear or quadratic models to predict experimental responses through 3D surface plots, and analysis of variance (ANOVA). PlanEx was also evaluated in the second term of 2009, 2010, and 2011 in graduate courses of planning and design of experiments. Foliar contents of total phenols and tannins and the essential oil composition of Myrciaria cauliflora populations cultivated in six sampling sites have shown the presence of four clusters related to soil types and foliar nutrients. Cluster I included samples which originated from sandy soil (S1) with the highest and lowest percentages of γ-eudesmol (11.55%) and germacrene D (20.48%), respectively, as well as high total phenol (136.68 mg/g) and tannin (60.72 mg/g) contents. Cluster II, rich in elemol (4.61%), included all the samples cultivated from clay sand loam soils (S2, S3, and S6), whereas clay soils S4 (cluster III) and S5 (cluster IV) had the highest amounts of germacrene D (III: 27.20%; IV: 26.83%) and the lowest levels of elemol (2.12%; 2.55%), total phenols (79.69 and 111.77 mg/g), and tannins (34.04 and 44.51 mg/g). Canonical redundancy analysis (RDA) revealed the relationship between chemical balances in the soil and leaf nutrients in different clusters. Chemovariations may be environmentally determined. This Thesis presents a brief historic of experimentation, its application in secondary schools and the justification for the alternative material utilised during the activities of experimentation. Some playful conceptual aspects, its presentation and its application at school are also described with the aim of observing the existence of the relations between the playful and the activities of experimentation. Referring to the method, we have opted for the method study of multiple cases, aiming to conduct a comparison amongst several students and schools that utilise different experiments in an attempt to relate the similarities to the context of the research focus. The development in the application of the activities of experimentation is described in different groups from three secondary schools, two being in the city of Dourados-MS and one in the city of Goiânia- GO. The multivariate chemical analysis of the essential oils from leaves of Eugenia uniflora with different fruit colour indicated the presence of three clusters of oils regarding sample biotypes. The first included yellowish-orange, purple, and dark red fruits with high percentages of germacrene B (11-31%), germacrone (9.8-54%) and atractylone (0-20%). In cluster II, with red bright fruit samples, the major constituents were curzerene (42-43%), germacrene D (8.7- 9.0%) and germacrene A (5.9-8.9%), while cluster III included red-orange fruit samples containing a high content of selina-1,3,7(11)-trien-8-one (40-55%) and selina-1,3,7(11)-trien-8-one epoxide (13-24%). All essential oils have predominantly sesquiterpenes, although sesquiterpene hydrocarbons and oxygenated sesquiterpenes contents were majorities in the clusters I/II and III, respectively. With the development of this research we seek to investigate the relationships and interactions between constituent elements of the pedagogical courses projects (PPC) of Chemistry Teachers Training Courses in the Goiás state, Brazil. We used as a research method discursive textual analysis aimed at fragmenting documents examined in units of analysis, relations between units in the categorization process and build a new text that presents the new understandings of the phenomenon studied. We question whether, in the documents, the relationships and interactions established enable or provide a training that includes the current guidelines for teacher training. Identified positivist conceptions about the vision of science, lack of clarity regarding the professional profile to be formed and found the identity crisis of the university when you try to justify their actions relating to the needs of the labor market. We analyze the contradictions in relation to issues of interdisciplinarity, training by research and through use of information technology and communication.We study in detail the PPC in Chemistry Teachers Training Courses, re-designed our views and we give as a subject/researcher/teacher in a process of continuing education teacher's own trainer. This change enabled us to participate in the drafting of a new PPC seeking help to produce a document that had minimized the contradictions perceived by us on other PPC. A pesquisa sobre produção científica e tecnológica dos pesquisadores da área de Engenharias, Ciências Exatas e da Terra da UFPB objetiva gerar indicadores para analisar a gestão dessas informações pelos diversos atores. Dos programas integrantes da área, Física e Química possuem conceito cinco, Engenharia Mecânica, quatro e Engenharia de Produção, Engenharia Urbana, Informática e Matemática, três, o mínimo para credenciamento. A coleta das informações se deu no Caderno de Indicadores da Capes verificadas, num segundo momento, na Plataforma Lattes. Organizadas em tabelas e gráficos ilustram a produção de conhecimento dos pesquisadores, bem assim o perfil produtivo do programa. Há docentes em posições de liderança, contribuindo positivamente com sua produção científica e tecnológica para os programas.
