This scientific research is a case study, which examined the education management and control of performance in Brazil through the case of the Index of Basic Education Development - IDEB established by Presidential Decree 6094 of 2007. The case of IDEB was studied by means of trimming the institutionalization process, for observation of their status as informational and device control, seeking to understand how this device is now operated as a political technology governance education. The methodology used, therefore, was the case study complemented by a critical discourse analysis, used to analyze the speeches and the statements found on the fluidity of discursive communities in ORKUT ??, texts of interviews with experts, newspaper articles and politics texts. In this study, we identified the articulated presence in the educational politics texts and in the content of research on educational inequalities, and the presence of speeches about field arrangement and discourses about the geographies of opportunities. It was therefore possible realize and reveal, marks of a new phase of rationality in educational planning focused on the control and regulation of education through the use of performativity and management, as tools of political language and technologies of governance policies which trend to promote inter-sectoral policies and public policy programs. The main theme of this thesis is the study of the transition from early childhood education to the First Grade in the context of extension of Elementary School to nine years. The main question is: Has the extension of Primary School to nine years and the compulsory admission of six-year-old children enabled a better relationship Childhood Education and Elementary School since both educational levels should be restructured? It was considered analyses from National and Municipal contexts, and the everyday life in schools throughout documental research, interviews and en ethnographic approach as methodological procedures. However, the main was the school context. The research was carried out in a school from Pelotas in Rio Grande do Sul Brazil, in a pre-school class in 2009, in the First Grade in 2010. The research presents a study about the evasion of young people and adults from classes in the early years of EJA (young and Adults education). The chose to search this phenomenon is the result of several studies processes in the researcher groups MovSE (social movements, public school and Popular Education) e FePr??xiS (philosophy, education and Social praxis) of Education College, Federal University of Pelotas. In the process there was the identification of the theme relevance in Brazilian educational scene and the education recognition of young and adult as a problem that marks the history of education in Brazil and in Pelotas with regard to the schooled teaching. The theoretical and methodological benchmark, in a qualitative base, aligns the dialectics Materialist Historical prospect. We opted for a case study accomplished in an outskirts school of Pelotas city. This dissertation reports the results of an investigation which, focused on the research field concerning teacher knowledge, aimed at identifying which knowledge the teachers working on Professional Education mobilize, acquire and build along their careers as teachers. Considering that most teachers of technical subjects in Professional Education start their careers without having any previous formal preparation for the teaching practice. Nine subjects were interviewed with the purpose of understanding how they have become teachers, which difficulties they faced, what they learned and how, what knowledge they have and, mainly, what they think about the process which built the teachers they are today. Among the main results reached in the context of this research, we highlight the fact that the teachers interviewed understand that there were many factors which interfered in their teaching. However, they affirm that with the time and the practice they had they learned and are still learning to be teachers. They identify that the Professional Education is a specific type of education and to teach in such context it is necessary to have a considerable knowledge which, when interrelated, enable the teacher to reach his/her main purpose which is to teach a profession. The thematic of this dissertation is all about inclusion in Physical Education class. To develop from methodological pint of view regarding in principles of action-research are performed reflexions about pedagogic practice of initiate teacher. The empirical field is formed for the set of pedagogical practices in Physical Education that was developed a long of a school year in four class of final years grades of basic education of municipal system inland of Rio Grande do Sul. This study dealt with the impact caused by the latest syllabus reform in the Physical Education course (both in the Teaching and the Bachelor s Degrees) on the constitution of Physical Educators identities. The main objective of the research was to understand whether these changes were appropriate and how they affected the syllabus and College students identities. Post-structuralist studies, mainly Foucauldian ones, were taken as references to work on concepts such as discourse, discursive practices and power-knowledge. The use of Stephen Ball s Policy Cycle Approach made the analyses address a view on educational and syllabus policies which could be understood as the result of constant conflicts in different contexts that interpenetrate and relate to each other to yield global-local effects. The investigation was carried out by discourse analyses of: official texts in educational reform that aims at students pursuing teaching and bachelor s degrees in Physical Education; the faculty involved in the development of a political text in the country; and the faculty who focused on the re-contextualization of official norms in the local context of political production and of seniors who graduated at ESEF/UFPel in 2010. This thesis has the objective to describe how a group of blind people explains its graduation in higher education, identifying the factors associated with this conclusion, in the light of L. S. Vygotski s studies. Methodologically, the thesis consisted in a qualitative study, assuming the form of case studies. The research counted on the participation of nine blind people based on the following criteria: being blind and being higher education egresses. The instruments to collect data were the interview and the document analysis. The collected data were worked out through the discursive textual analysis. The theoretical framework brought information pertaining to the participation of blind students in higher education; definition of terms blind and disability; social movements influence on the blind; inclusion of disabled people in higher education; the presence of obstacles for the blind to attend higher education; and the role of professors who work with visually impaired students.It included the presentation of psychological-pedagogical propositions about blindness, arising from investigations developed by Vygotski in the context of his defectology, which resulted in a reorganization of the texts of Tome V of his Collected Works...

This thesis presents a research made at Special Distance Education Graduation Course from Federal University of Santa Maria and it was developed at Bag??, Livramento and Uruguaiana regional distance education support centers. It has been focused on dialogic possibilities for distance education courses for teacher education courses. Therefore it has analyzed the dialogic practice proposed and developed throughout the course by Paulo Freire categories. The methodology applied approaches the ethnographic and participative research parameters. It has been done by following teachers development on a distance education course, in order to analyze and understand the dialog development and proposition. The dialog’s aim is to put in interaction historical practices of different people on the pedagogic process (Freire’s conception) what becomes possible through distance education web tools. Besides, because of an interactional perspective it is reinforced on presential meetings with teachers, tutors and students, what is also possible due to technology. This thesis arose from a work experience in public health in the community Cohab Tablada, in Pelotas-RS. It has been proved, then, the need for further study and in the area of Environmental Education - a field full of scientific gaps and misconceptions - through philosophy, to provide a foundation for environmental education as a field of knowledge, and its advance, and therefore, the improvement of public health in communities across the glimpse of the environmental component of health, expressed par excellence in health prevention. The methodology used was theoretical and philosophical research, in order to explain theoretically that the field of environmental education has a significant reductionism in its actions in line with the conception of the nature of modernity. The work is directed to the emergence of attitudes of awareness towards nature, so that might reveal the inner nature always present in humans. This report of dissertation presented to defense research line, in philosophy and history of education of the pos-graduation program of the education faculty of the Federal University of Pelotas, has its genesis in the investigation of the life history of ??nnio Amaral and comes up of many circumstances, and questions that intend to answer, being the base of this research is his personal life and his professional trajectory. These questions are involved in the problematic of how a teacher of professional education of the secondary school, brought teaching, research and extensions in a time when the bases to this type of education was the tecnicism. Furthermore, even in the superior education, some universities undertook only teaching, others, teaching and research, being uncommon the ones that prioritized teaching, research and extension as indissociable things. Studies with focus in professional formation of Physical Education s teachers have being increasing recently. It appears that there is a concern with Initial formation, Continuing formation and with docents professional trajectory and docents life trajectory. Therefore, the objective of the study was to investigate the process of construction of Continuing Formation in Municipal Administration s Desporte and Education Bureau proposals, offered to Physical Education teachers, after the implementation of the Law 9.394/1996 (LDBEN) until the year of 2011. As specific objectives, on seek to investigate the process of administration of public politics about Continuing Formation; to search into the pedagogical co-ordinators belonging to Physical Education and to build a time line about the Continuing Formation proposals which are offered by SMED to Physical Education teachers, between the years 1996 and 2011. Interventions for promoting physical activity in schools have shown relevant results for reducing the high rates of physical inactivity . In this sense the Study Group on Epidemiology of Physical Activity GEEAF - school with the 5th Regional Coordination of Education (5th CRE ) developed the project Physical Education + : Practicing Health in school . This project has the aim assist PE teachers to work in the health theme school and disseminate knowledge about practices and their relation to bodily health . The main strategies of intervention are: training workshop for teachers ; delivery of educational material to teachers ; delivery illustrative posters and a scientific event to facilitate the exchange of experience among teachers . Thus the aim of this project is to analyze the implementation of the intervention project " Physical Education + " to be developed in physical education classes in high school in the public schools of the city of Pelotas . For it will be drawn 10 high schools from public Pelotas five from the control group and the other five of the group will receive the intervention of " Physical Education + " . Will be given a questionnaire to assess the level of physical activity ( ≥ 300min/sem ) and knowledge (score on a test ) at the beginning and end of the intervention on students from 10 schools. A subsample of students participate in a focus group to assess satisfaction with the intervention . Teachers will be interviewed by telephone and through a personal interview to verify adherence to the project . After analyzes will be performed for comparisons within ( pre and post ) and intergroup (two dishes ) the level of physical activity and knowledge of students . of teaching African-Brazilian culture, from the uniqueness of the relationship between the application of Law No. 10.639/03, inserted in particular of the pedagogic Physical Education teacher, that has been allocated to the general relations in the workplace. For this challenge we have considered the theory of historical materialism dialectic that allows us real insight and critical, because through it we understand beyond the apparent determinations involving this subject matter. The techniques and procedures for data collection were: the focus group and the references. In interpreting the data, we turn to content analysis. The principal objetive this study was to build part of memories from Instituto Estadual de Educa????o Ponche Verde, situated in municipality of Piratini RS. The search priorited the investigation the course about formation of teachers, in special the Normal Regional (1954 1971) and the Physical Education post in practice in this education space. The search was developed having with theoretical-methodology reference the conception of history of Michael Foucault, the studies of memory and the beginning methodologies of Oral History. This way, was utilized written fontain (institutions documents, registers, reports, decrees, laws, newspaper reports of city), old photographs and oral declaration of old members of school. This work had the objective to reveal the challenges and the possibilities faced with hysical Education courses when they are confronted with the curricular reforms, which reflect on the demands of professional training. The alterations of the professional academic training, results of the Resolutions Educacion National Consuel 01 e 02/2002 e 07/2004, provoked discussions and conflicts between the professionals and theoretics of the area that understand a different way in the training of Physical Education.They also provoked a politic-pedagogic redirection of the professional training curricles that are still in the phase of adjustment in some institutions. The study reveals a complex network that involves the professional training in Physical Education in the Brazilian scenario, and the necessity to lengthen the discussions between professionals and education institutions.The main focus of this research was the study of curricular changes of two Physical Education courses, both related with this researcher s academic and professional background. Both are located in the southern region in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. One is a public institution and the other is a collective. The purpose of this investigation is to analyze these curricles; to identify the coordinators and teachers views and knowledge of the curricular reform of these Physical Education courses; and to show the impact of these reforms on the professional and academic training. For that we used a qualitative way of research. The evaluation has been an applicant topic in the discussions about the pedagogical practices in school and also in the Physic l Education (PE) area. The choice of the theme is justified as we consider necessary to uncover and minimize the dominant speech about the depreciation of knowledge and practices of teachers. This is a descriptive research, a case study where we approach the Physical Education teachers from municipal schools of Pelotas RS, which are inserted in the project of implementation of a 9-year-long teaching in basic education. The tool used for this collection of information was a semi-structured interview, which was recorded, transcribed, and afterwards, interpreted through the analysis of content. During the literature review, we signed: the importance of the knowledge produced by each teacher, the knowledge about the habitus of each agent that lives in a social space; the abilities of the PE teachers who act in the schools, among them, in special, the ability of evaluate; and the knowledge about the cycles or stages of each stage lived by the teachers inside their careers, understanding the characterization of the teaching trajectory in lifecycles and/or professional development. El trajabo tiene como objetivo geral identificar como los maestros de Educaci??n F??sica se constitu??ran gestores2 de las escuelas da red estadual del ense??o de la ciudad del Pelotas-RS (gesti??n 2007-2009). Para que esos objetivos sejan alcanzados si fuera necesario comprender las relaciones que cercan las aciones del profesores de Educaci??n F??sica en el ejerc??cio de la gesti??n de la escuela y cu??l es lo factor que hacen com que participen de la administraci??n de las instituciones del ense??o. Por eso, recurrimos a realization de una investigaci??n cualitativa, en que hemos entrevistado nueve profesores-gestores de Educaci??n F??sica (cuatro directores y cinco vive-directores), que estaban na gesti??n de ocho escuelas de la ??rea urbana de Pelotas-RS, durante la execution del estudio. Junto con las entrevistas, fueran agregados infornaciones de la 5?? Coordenadoria Regional del Educaci??n y realizadas anotaciones en el diario del campo. Se realizaron entrevistas en la bandera oficial, anteriomente marcadas, y han utilizado un gu??a de preguntas semi-structured de naturaleza auto-biogr??ficas que crearon la posibilidad de comprender las razones que hab??an conducido personal y profesional que han optado por la actuaci??n en direcci??n escolar y su postura en esta funci??n y darse cuenta c??mo estos comprenden la gesti??n de la escula publica del estado.
