The variability of total annual precipitation of rain and its distribution during the rainy season in the region of Arapiraca, explains most of the fluctuations in crop yield, which occurs in different years and locations. However, regional water conditions for agriculture must also be considered taking into account the storage capacity of water form the soil. Water is essential to productivity of crops and their consumption is determined by water evaporative demand of the atmosphere, soil type and plants characteristics. A good distribution of rainfall regulates water factor of production, preventing soil moisture is reduced to levels that condition the plant water stress. In particular, the corn grown in the irrigation system in this region has the yield highly dependent on interactions between their phenological phases and water availability which is determined by the storage of water from the soil and the irregularity of the rainfall regime. This work aimed to analyze the sowing dates of maize which have lower risk of water stress during sowing until 10 days after flowering in the region of Arapiraca. Hintergrund: Unter dem Savant-Syndrom versteht man das Auftreten einer oder mehrerer herausragender Fähigkeiten vorwiegend bei allgemeiner Intelligenzminderung. Die neuropsychologischen Grundlagen solcher Inselbegabungen sind bislang unklar. Kalenderrechnen ist vermutlich die bekannteste Savant-Fähigkeit, wenngleich es auch bei gesunden Personen vorkommt. Man versteht hierunter die Fähigkeit, zu einem gegebenen Datum schnell den korrekten Wochentag nennen zu können. Die bisherigen vorgeschlagenen behavioralen Hypothesen zur Erklärung des Kalenderrechnens bei "Savants" betrafen ein eidetisches Gedächtnis, blitzschnelles Rechnen, ein mechanisches Gedächtnis, sowie den Gebrauch von Ankerdaten bzw. Kalenderregularitäten. Bislang liegen keine neurophysiologischen Untersuchungen zur Erklärung dieser seltenen Fähigkeit vor. So lag das Ziel dieser Studie in der Untersuchung der Neurophysiologie des Kalenderrechnens bei autistischen Savants. Kürzlich stellten Snyder und Mitchell (1999) eine Hypothese auf, die besagt, dass Savants Zugang zu den frühen Schritten der Informationsverarbeitung (IVA) hätten. Interventions have focussed on the promotion of earlier diagnosis in patients with potential cancer symptoms. However, to assess the effectiveness of these interventions, the time from symptom onset to presentation needs to be reliably and accurately measured. This qualitative study explored the use of calendar landmarking instruments in cancer symptom research. Methods: We performed a secondary analysis of transcripts of interviews using the calendar landmarking instrument, undertaken with patients who had either been diagnosed with cancer (n=40, IRCO study, Western Australia), or who had symptoms suggestive of cancer (n=38, SYMPTOM study, North East and Eastern England). We used constant comparison methods to identify use of the calendar landmarking instruments and the impact of their application. Results: The calendar landmarking instrument appeared to help many patients, either by acting as a prompt or helping to refine recall of events. A combination of personal (e.g. birthday) and national (e.g. Christmas) landmarks seemed to be the most effective. The most advanced server side technology, Microsoft .NET Framework and Microsoft SQL, will be used to develop a dynamic web server based calendar to handle appointment and meeting scheduling. It s a new calendar in architecture and functions compared to the traditional calendars. The existing commercial calendars, such as Outlook calendar, iCal and MeetingMaker, have a common weakness: unique calendar software should be installed in the user s computer. They are all not web based calendars. Some existing web calendars, like Yahoo calendar, have very limited functions. In this proposal, a web server based calendar is proposed to overcome this weakness, i.e., no unique software is needed and with lots of very useful functions like creating an appointment, proposing a meeting, viewing the attendee s availability and the responses, accessing and even changing the calendars of other users based on the given permission. The user can access the calendar service wherever a web browser exists.
