This study focuses on the initial formation of the pedagogue in college, especially the formation that takes place in the Pedagogy Course. It is bound by the following question: what senses are attributed by the Pedagogy Trainees regarding the relation between the Education Science knowledge and the Pedagogic Practice knowledge developed in the Pedagogy Course of UESB, in order to build up teaching knowledge and practice? Therefore it aims to reflect on the relations between the Education Science framework and the Pedagogic Practice under the supervised classes that belong to the Pedagogy Course. It presents the implications and contextualizations concerning the pedagogue formation as a historic and cultural process, emphasizing the current moment of this formation. It is based on the idea that the senses trainees, future pedagogues, attribute to their own formation process reflect on the learning of theorical and practical knowledge that validates the process of teachers formation, especially the pedagogue formation. Accordingly, it believes that the senses attributed by the students of teachers initial formation courses regarding the Education Science knowledge and Pedagogic Practice knowledge are essential as organizers in the construction of teaching knowledge and practice while the supervised classes take place. Kindergarten teachers training gains the spotlight with the passing of Law number 9.394/96 (Guidelines and Basis Law) that defines this segment as the initial step of basic education, with pedagogical function. In this spectrum, the discussion about teacher training unravels to ensure social quality to education as well as the teacher s specificities towards child singularities. Adding to that, the growing propagation of Pedagogy in an undergraduate level, given that such course has been continually transformed by the National Curriculum Guidelines for Pedagogy (2006), highlighting the addition of curriculum components that are specific to upbringing. The complex debate circa kindergarten teachers training has advancements and hardships that need to be unveiled in order to improve both formation and social quality of education in the 0- 5 years old range. This investigation inserts itself in said context and aims to analyze which knowledge, specific to kindergarten teaching are constructed, according to undergraduate trainees, in Pedagogy s supervised internship. The aim of this study was to investigate the social representation of technological education teachers at the Federal Technological Education Network. The survey was conducted from 2007 to 2010, and the respondents were 275 teachers, 135 of the Federal Center for Technological Education (CEFET in portuguese) in the state of Amazonas, in Manaus unit headquarters; 140 of the CEFET in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, a unit based in Natal. We adopt the concept of technological education as the top level of professional education, that is to say, the undergraduate programs of short duration called technological courses. The Federal Technological Education Network gathers hundreds of related institutions, coordinated and supervised by the Office of Vocational and Technological Education of the Ministry of Education. Although many of these institutions offer courses in technology education, no research addressing this subject from the perspective of Social Representations Theory (SRT) was found in the literature. The research was conducted at the Graduate Program in Education FE / UFG, the line of research "Culture and Educational Processes." The study focused on the analysis of the concept of Permanent Education in Health (EPS) contained in the National Policy on Permanent Education in Health (PNEPS), established by Decree no. 198/GM/MS of 13/02/2004. The question Central was to analyze the fundamentals of Continuing Education in Health (EPS) of the current proposal. The methodology used was the study and analysis ministerial documents of the period from 2003 to 2009, articles by authors involved with the theme from PAHO and documents related to emergence of the idea of EPS. Our Subject of study in the line research the Education, Work and Social Moviments of the Education Doctorate, the Movement of Basic Education in Goiás (MEB-Goiás), in the 1960s, carried out the process of adult education in rural areas, through the radio. It is a case built through the review of the literature related to the theme; by the analysis of documents (books, newspapers, texts, theses and dissertations, literature, poetry, songs, letters, interviews etc.), that recover stories of life and actions of those who built the MEB-Goiás, pursuing to capture theoretical and philosophicalpolitical benchmarks which influenced and argued its political-educational practice. The datas were analyzed based on readings of works from authors like Amado, Bosi, Brandão, Chardin, Fávero, Freire, Kadt, Lima e Arantes, Mounier, Peixoto Filho, Pessoa, Queiroz, Thompson, Vaz, and others. The present thesis, which is linked to the Research Area State and Educational Politics of the Graduation Program in Education of The Federal University of Goiás, analyzes the process of expansion of higher education in Brazil through distance education (EaD), during Fernando Henrique Cardoso s (1995-2002) and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva s (2003-2010) administrations, aiming at comprehending, especially, the case of The University of Tocantins (Unitins), which in the 2000s put into work a set of actions and strategies which gave rise to an accelerated process of expansion of distance undergraduate and post-graduation programs. This research, based on the analysis of programs, projects and federal governmental actions, clearly shows that the Brazilian state has been rapidly institutionalizing and expanding distance education. It becomes evident, in this process, that the politics established by the Bureau of Distance Education/MEC, co-substantiate meaningful changes in the conceptions of distance education, access democratization, regulation, evaluation, supervision and vacancy offer quality. This work is part of the line of research State, History and Educational Policy, from the Program of Pos-Graduation in the School of Education of the Federal University of Goiás and aims to understand the concepts of participation that have been developing in the social practices of institutionalized education, present in the scientific journal Educação & Sociedade. For this reason, we begin with the understanding that a conceptual category must apprehend the social reality, outlining the processes and structures that make it historically. This understanding is based on the contribution theoretical and methodological developed by Karl Marx and corroborated by István Mészáros. From this perspective, there was research about the theoretical development and elements socio-historical that determine the concept of participation on the liberal theories that problematize the relation individual and society in modernity. Such theories conceive the isolated and self-sufficient individual constituted by social relations inherent to the mode of capitalist production and reproduction, and mystify the ancient principles of freedom and equality mediators of this relationship, as well as reveal the representative participation as a concept of bourgeois liberal democracy. Este trabalho tem por objeto de estudo os cursos de especialização em Educação Infantil e integra-se à linha de pesquisa Formação e Profissionalização Docente, do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação. Mais especificamente, apresenta-se como subprojeto da pesquisa desenvolvida pelo Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas da Infância e sua Educação em Diferentes Contextos, da Faculdade de Educação/UFG. Para tratar de nossa temática central, nos aventuramos pela história das creches e pré-escolas no Brasil, articulando essa trajetória com a formação dos seus professores, enfatizando a pós-graduação e o cenário em que os cursos lato sensu foram nascendo e se multiplicando sem regulamentação adequada. Norteou nossa investigação a intenção de aprofundar o conhecimento acerca da configuração da especialização em Educação Infantil no Estado de Goiás, a possibilidade de formação dos professores naqueles cursos e de considerá-los como educação continuada. A pesquisa se ateve aos cursos oferecidos em Goiás entre 2003 e 2006, coletando dados de cinco instituições, sendo três públicas e duas privadas, nos municípios de Goiânia, Anápolis, Ceres, Jataí e Rio Verde. This study is integrated to research line of teacher Education and Professionalization of the College of Education, Federal University of Goiás, developed by the Nucleus of Studies and Research of Infancy and Infant Education in Different Contexts. It was investigated the Infant Education, at post graduation courses, Lato Sensu, aiming at analyzing the political nature and the social function of Infant Education at post graduated level of three different universities from the public sector in Bahia. The major assumption underlying this research is that Infant Education at this type of course understands continuing education if it creates the means of a specific training based on a critical and political approach from the process of production condition and of the teacher s work. Our research composes one of various subprojects on development in the project Public Politics and Childhood Education in Goiás: history, conceptions, projects and practical, of the Studies and Researches of Childhood Education group, on the research line Teaching Formation and Professionalization for the concession of the doctor s degree on the research program of the Education Faculty, in the Federal University of Goiás. We investigate the pedagogical coordination at the childhood education, trying to understand the work and the constitution of the professional identities of the pedagogical coordinators on the Municipal Centers of Childhood Education in Goiânia. We adopt the principle that the pedagogical coordination is one dimension in the administration, responsible for the collective joint of pedagogical and political project as well as of learning and teaching process, on a democratic perspective. This dissertation is inserted in an ongoing investigation called State and Educational Policies in the Post-graduation Program in Education from the College of Education of the Federal University of Goiás. This research analyses the relationships and tensions among education, media and politics, having as study case education in Goiás from the perspective of a newspaper called O Popular, during Fernando Henrique Cardoso FHC (1995-2002) administration. It is examined, in a more objective way, how education in federal, state and municipal levels; public or private was portrayed by O Popular newspaper. In this analysis it is taken into account how this newspaper focused on different aspects that referred to the theme, considering the following subjects: public policies, propagation, behavior, service and complaint. Such categorizations required the analysis of 1.646 articles on the education field published in the newspaper O Popular between 1995 and 2002. The examination of these articles was based on a wide revision of literature that aimed at understanding the fields of education, media and politics in their interfaces and tensions, what was conducted through fundamental concepts of Bourdieu‟s work, besides other experts in the themes already presented. The fetish of the pedagogy of competence in professional education derives from a research line in Education, Labor, and Social Movements of the College of Education of the Graduate Program in Education of the Federal University of Goiás. In this work we investigate the curriculum of two institutions in professional education from the point of view of the pedagogy of competence, aiming at the understanding and identification of their constitutive elements. The approach was based on the review and analysis of literature and official documents, as well as the institutions under consideration. We analyzed the pedagogical proposal adopted by these institutions in terms of the technical courses they offer by the study of course plans and interviews with coordinators, instructors and students. We could observe an intimate connection between professional education and the immediate need of the market. This research demonstrates that the idea of pedagogy of competence is constructed from parameters that come from the philosophy of pragmatism, which, in turn, favors subjects related to production practice in detriment to the political and social characters of labor. The dissertation "THE EDUCATION BOAT : History, Life and Education in Santa Rosa do Purus is the result of taken near of Research Education Line, Work and Social Movements of the Graduate Program in Education of the FE / UFG. The relationship between history and everyday life of bordering of Alto Purus, was investigated in the research, from the middle of the twentieth century, trying to understand the tension macro-micro/history and how the school education is expressed in the process, particularly from 1992 , year that was established the municipality of Santa Rosa do Purus-AC. The fieldwork was done between January and October 2008 in Santa Rosa of Purus, with semi-structured interviews, inquiring about the school life of children of old and new residents of the municipal district. The main theoretical referencial is based on daily life studies in Agnes Heller, Henri Lefebvre, Fernand Braudel, Sônia Penin and Jadir Pessoa. With this research it cold be perceived that from the creation of Santa Rosa do Purus, the education school expressed the development of the region, although it has not been the main fact, it helped this population create new prospective to the improvement of living conditions in Alto Purus.; A dissertação O BARCO DA EDUCAÇÃO : História...

This text is one of the several sub-projects that are in a development process integrated to the project Public Politics and Childhood Education in Goiás: history, conceptions, projects and pratices, linked to the research line Teacher Formation and Professionalism Process at Education Faculty in Goiás Federal University. We investigated the Brazilian scene that delineates around the public politics of Childhood Education subsidized by the World Bank. We carried through a critical reflection trying to understand the conceptual and political orientations of that Bank about the education, mainly, the childhood education and to identify projects that base their implementation in Brazil, since the 90 s years. Based on a dialectic-historical-social perspective, we developed a documental and bibliographic research. We started from an organizational vision from World Bank and its educational politics present in the Education Sector Documents (1971, 1974, 1980, 1995 and 2000) to, then, analyze the public politics elaborated, implemented and monitored for the children education from zero to six years old. This study lies within the State and Educational Policies line of research. It aims to analyze school education in the Education of Youth and Adults modality at secondary level in the Lourdes Estivalete Teixeira State School and work activities at the Odenir Guimarães Penitentiary (OGP). It set out to understand the concepts of education and work for the social actors who make up the research scenario: managers, teachers, prison wardens and full-time detainees, who attend the school and workshops within the OGP, as well as the context in which education and work are integrated into the penitentiary system. The theoretical background for the text are made up of analyses of the State Constitution starting from John Locke s liberalism, the structuring of the neo-liberal current and its classics, based on a critique of this social and political structuring starting from an analysis of the real and its contradictions. Conceptions of Karl Marx are used in order to situate the text at the dawn of historical-dialectical materialism to reveal the meanderings of actions for education and work in the penitentiary system.
